Drinking!!!

A favourite pass time among the men, should I also mention women (recent trends). Often I have wondered what benefit do they derive out of this pass time? None that I can think of but one which is not a benefit but comes to my mind is it will definitely help them reach the other world soon.

I think of the youngster who take up to drinking as 'COWARDS' .... Yeah you got me right cowards... I know it is an entirely different outlook to drinking but then I have my reasons.

One of the reasons is that it is a bad habit which in my books is similar to a person taking drugs. Secondly I think most of the youngster take to drinking just due to peer pressure. That is those who take to drinking from their college days. They are the cowards who are not brave enough to say no when their freinds pressurize them to drink. It is like the rest of the my freinds drink so I will look bad if i dont follow the crowd. They fear to be different and are not brave enough to say an absolute no to their freinds when they are forced into a habit which is as bad as taking drugs.

An absolutly weird reason I have heard for drinking is that it is to relieve stress and remove tension, I often wonder what about the rest of us who are also stressed in life and who do not have to opt drinking. Do we die of stress? I dont think so we have better ways to get rid of stress by spending time with the family, listening to soft music, reading books and loads more other activities.

Walk to remember

'Walk to Rememeber' is a young and innocent love story written beautifully by Nicholas Sparks. Most of his works are love stories like The Notebook, A Bend in the road, Message in a Bottle, The Rescue so on.

What I liked about 'Walk to Remember' is that the story is about two young individuals Landon Carter and Jamie Sullivan studying at Beaufort high school in North Carolina. The story is all about how two totally different people fall into true love.

This book provides the reader with an indirect message that is if you believe in God he will hear your prayers for sure. The story depicts the power of love and prayer as to how it can transform a person for good. But the best thing about the book is the innocence of Landon and Jamie and their love.

Like Nicholas Sparks mentions in the introduction of the book "first you will smile, and then you will cry --- don't say that you haven't been warned." It is a fair enough warning because when we read this warning we think as to whether the author has so much confidence in the book to put up such a warning. But true to to the warning that is what we end up doing when we read the book. First we smile and then we cry............

Adieu...

I was leaving Kochi the city in Gods own country where I had spent some of my most cherished years of ma life......It was a nostaligic farewell as I was saying adieu to the beautiful city after having compeleted my studies and was goimg to enter the big bad world..... I was gonna start working.

I was leaving behind faces and people held dear over my course of 2 years of study here in Kochi.......But then the best thing about home is that it was always bids me adieu in its own special way and this time too it did bid me adieu in its special way.......with a Rainbow.... No it was not raining but as I was leaving for the airport between the cloud were visible two beautiful rainbows....

I was sad leaving my behind my friends but the rainbow felt for me as a beautiful reminder of the wonderful years I have spend in this wonderful city.

A blank canvas awaiting to be filled.............the random thoughts which seldom stop.....a spark
